Q: Is Wu Xing Dao suitable for men and women?

A: Yes. Wu Xing Dao is suitable for men or women of all ages, provided they have reached maturity. This martial art is not suitable for young children.

Q: Is it a safe art to practice?

A: Quite safe so long as you follow your Instructor's guidance.  Of course you will be required to take responsibility for yourself in the event you misuse what you are taught or practice incorrectly.

Q: Does it have training techniques not available from other martial arts?

A: Yes. Wu Xing Dao is a traditional, and until quite recently, a secret fighting system. The system is only taught by word of mouth and practical demonstrations by a qualified teacher. They do not appear in any books or videos.

Q: Is Wu Xing Dao Steel Hand training the same as Iron Palm training?

A: No, they are not the same. Steel Hand training covers a wider range of practice than just conditioning the hands. It requires no special liniments or medicines to toughen the hands and avoid injury. At advanced levels the training evolves into a unique system of striking and fighting.

Q: Is Wu Xing Dao Kung Fu an effective and real Martial Art. i.e. will it work in the street?

A: Yes. It was originally designed by 12 masters from various styles of Kung Fu, to encompass and express the best of what they had learned during their years of real combat experience and teaching. It is a totally practical system. All training and techniques in the Wu Xing Dao System are there for their martial effectiveness. After all, saving yourself or a loved one from an attacker is one of the most serious of all objectives

Q: What is the Invisible Master Concept?

A: This concept is a method of training that allows the student to continually learn and progress even when there is no teacher present. The application of this unique concept allows students to learn at a much greater rate and gain a deeper insight into the   system than would have been possible in the past.

Q: How many times a week would I have to attend?

A: Wu Xing Dao Kung Fu is taught in private lessons personally conducted once per week, unless you and the Instructor have agreed otherwise. You are expected to conscientiously practice at home. The Instructor assesses your technical development during each lesson and gives you the appropriate guidance. He will introduce further techniques as you are ready for them.

Q: What does it cost to learn?

A: Costs are reasonable when you consider the unique qualities of Wu Xing Dao Kung Fu and the fact that you are being personally taught by a qualified Instructor.
