Glenn Darrell Robinson From a young age I was immersed in the fighting world in one form or another. Practiced in various arts, mainly boxing, karate, Ninjitsu. Starting from a gross physical perspective and constantly searching with the goal of expanding my understanding deeper and more on an energetic level. Not following the natural flow of nature, I recognized myself constantly fighting with life’s obstacles and was forced to delve deeper within. Letting go of past conditioning with the intent to know the truth and meaning of life, I continued on my journey but now with more awareness. For a number of years I travelled, searched, studied and practiced ancient eastern arts and philosophies of Indian and Chinese origin focusing mainly on Qigong and Tien Tao with my attention on the healing and spiritual aspects. Having had a number of enlightening experiences, feeling fortunate and very grateful for the Master teachers who came into my life some of which still till this day I study with. Due to my personality, I was feeling a little incomplete, so I identified within my self what this was. Once I pinpointed the subject I asked for my needs to be fulfilled, with this I was introduced to Master Vesse and Wu Xing Dao. Having practiced Wu Xing Dao for some time now, I find it fulfilling, complimentary and even enhancing to my other disciplines. Being a Qigong instructor and appreciating the concept and method of Master Vesse’s teachings I am once again grateful for the opportunity to share and pass on the teachings of Wu Xing Dao to the best of my ability, in the hope of reaching and assisting more people with a martial form I believe to be highly effective and very empowering. Also, allowing myself to grow and deepen my understanding of self within the great Tao. |
